"A Comedy of Feathers"
Couch Gag: A magician appears and while the family is sitting on The couch, the magician says "Abra cadbra, hah!" and waves his wand. Soon the couch and the family both disappeared. And the magician bows and disappers in a cloud of smoke.
Start off when Springfield and the people are celebrating New Year's and everyone is wishing what their revelation is going to be. Then we see Mr. Burns not in a festive mood; instead, Mr. Burns discovers he has an act of getting mad every single time and wants to find a way to control himself since it is a new year and he promises himself, that for once he will be happy; Smithers offers him anger management classes, but as soon Burns enter the managament classes, the easier he regains his anger and blows up with the littelest infraction. And as the classes failed, Smithers brought in a yoga teacher and then the Taebo guy to help him relax; however after all those attempts, Burns will not give up his anger. Soon enough he forgets it and moves on with his buisness life as he is about to reopen a Waste Facility near an old abandoned ovatory. Just as Burns is about to tear down the old ovatory, he soon discovers a lost, bewildered blue bird as it sits on top of a wrinkled nest. Feeling sorry for the bird, he takes care of it and soon Smithers think Mr. Burns is about to yell at him. Burns turn the other cheek and begins to say a joke, and then out of the blue he laughs. While holding onto the bird every time, he starts telling funny jokes and be amused by it. Seeing how the bird is his apparent muse, Burns decides to takes this oppurtunity as he feels this bird, as he nicknames it Bluepeak, can bring him a lot of fortune and just by telling jokes, this could be a start of a whole new Mr. Burns. Days later, Mr. Burns take Bluepeak out in the Springfield Audioturium and invites the everyone to see waht he is going to do. Most of the people feel that they know what he's going to do, and then when the curtains pull up Burns with new pal, Bluepeak begins his collage of jokes...and then everyone starts giggling even Homer and the other Simpsons who just witnessing what they are seeing...a whole new Mr. Burns! As news starts spreading away about Burns' new comedic personality, everyone from Shelbyville to Captiol City to other big name cities want to see this new and improved Burns. And when Burns give them what they want, a talent scout, Humphrey Giggles finally meets Mr. Burns and his muse, Bluepeak. Giggles soon invites Burns to come join him in a comedy tour. Burns figure the best thing to do is to try something new and brings Bluepeak with him. Giggles, Mr. Burns, and Bluebeak are soon join by Larry the Cable Guy, Jeff Foxworthy, and Lucas Black; they soon begin their trip in Chicago to New York to Las Angeles to Somewhere around Area 51 to the Route 66 Graveyard to the New Orleans to Atlantis, yet in Larry's mistake, Atlanta. As the comedy trip continues, Burns notices something is not right with Bluepeak and tries to figure out after all his number is up next. As he finally learns what is up with Bluepeak, Burns realizes that it has to fly away and seek out a whole new life. Feeling upset and wanting to say one last joke, he gets one last laugh out of it and takes Bluepeak and departs the comedy tour. Back in Springfield, Burns talks to Bluepeak and says goodbye as he sets the bird off...and eventually without hesitance, Bluepeak flies away to search for a whole new life. As Burns is about to get upset, Smithers shows up wondering what took him so long and tell him the plant is a mess without him, and when Smithers about to tell him about a tiny loss in their stockholds, Burns is living it...and begins a holey scream day unto Smitters...to Smitters, he is glad old Burns is back.
Meanwhile, Lisa and Bart tempt their parents to give them a pet bird, and tries many ways to get it. And when they nab a eagle by mistake, Homer tries to shoo it away not until getting attack by the big bird. Later, as a badly injured Homer is in the hostipal cooperating, Bart and Lisa shows Homer they finally did capture the right bird for a pet...and shows Homer its Woody Woodpecker. And then Woody begins pounding on the injured head of Homer's as Homer is screaming "D'oh, ouch! D'oh, ouch!" and we finally see Woody having the last laugh!
